Proud Moment for DGSE — Student from Visually Handicapped Centre Honoured by Prime Minister
Islamabad: The Directorate General of Special Education (DGSE) has once again brought pride to the nation by nurturing the extraordinary talents of its students. Fawad Khan, a student of the Visually Handicapped Children Centre, G-7, has been honoured as an International Youth Icon by the Honourable Prime Minister of Pakistan.
Director General Special Education, Capt (R) Asif Iqbal Asif, expressed immense pride in the achievement, stating that it reflects the limitless potential of persons with disabilities when provided with the right opportunities and support.
“This accomplishment is not just Fawad’s personal victory but also a testament to DGSE’s commitment to nurturing, guiding, and empowering every child to excel on both national and international stages,” he added.
The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training continues to work towards creating an inclusive environment where students with disabilities can shine and contribute to Pakistan’s progress.
