Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada , Federal Minister for Human Rights
Son of Bahawlapur, Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada is a seasoned and experienced politician from Pakistan Muslim League (N) with a distinguished political career spanning over four decades. He holds degree in law from the prestigious Punjab University Law College, Lahore. He also practiced as a lawyer in Lahore High Court for few years.
He started his political career in 1977 with Pakistan Peoples Party, when Chairman Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto granted him party ticket for provincial assembly of Punjab. Since then he made his way to provincial and national assemblies for six times as an elected member. In his political trajectory, he held the portfolios of Prisons, Health, Education, Sports, and Interprovincial Coordination in both provincial and federal cabinets.
