DG Special Education Pays Tribute to Teachers on World Teachers’ Day

Islamabad, October 5, 2026: Director General Special Education, Syed Tauqeer Hussain Shah, has extended heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to teachers, multidisciplinary teams and support staff serving children with special needs on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day 2026.

In his message, the Director General acknowledged the dedication, compassion and commitment of teachers and professionals whose efforts enable children with special needs to learn, grow and realize their potential. He said that every skill imparted to students helps dismantle barriers, promotes independence and transforms aspirations into meaningful possibilities.

Syed Tauqeer Hussain Shah emphasized that the contribution of teachers and supporting professionals deserves the highest appreciation and continued institutional support. Their role, he noted, goes beyond classroom teaching by building confidence, fostering inclusion and empowering students to participate more independently in society.

On behalf of the Directorate General of Special Education (DGSE), he also expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training for its continued guidance and support.

The Director General reaffirmed DGSE’s commitment to strengthening special education, empowering educators and ensuring that every child is provided opportunities to learn and flourish with dignity.
