NISE Organizes Two-Day Training Course on Self-Employment for Persons with Disabilities
The National Institute of Special Education (NISE) recently conducted a two-day training course on "Self Employment for Persons with Disabilities" from September 16th to 18th, 2024. The program attracted 44 individuals with disabilities, all eager to participate in this empowering initiative. The primary objective of the course was to provide a comprehensive understanding of self-employment, specifically designed to suit the unique strengths and capabilities of persons with disabilities. The curriculum covered a range of essential topics, including business planning, legal considerations, financial literacy, and access to loans through banks. Additionally, participants were guided on marketing strategies and networking opportunities. By focusing on these critical areas, the training aimed to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to pursue self-employment opportunities, fostering economic independence and empowerment.
