Introduction of the NTCSP
The National Training Centre for Special Persons (NTCSP), Islamabad, functioning under the Directorate General of Special Education (DGSE), Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Government of Pakistan, is a public-sector institution established with the mandate of providing technical and vocational training to the trainable Persons with Disabilities in different trades / skills. The Centre is committed to empowering persons with special needs through market-oriented skills, enhancing their self-reliance, dignity, social inclusion and prospects for sustainable employment and livelihood.

NTCSP provides training to persons with different disabilities, including hearing impairment, physical disabilities, visual impairment, Intellectual Development delay disorder and other eligible categories according to the training program.

After completing training, trainees can be guided towards employment, self-employment, entrepreneurship, internships, apprenticeships, or further skill development according to their abilities and interests. A certificate is awarded to passed out trainee.
